Lighting 100m2 of pure design

According to 1004arquitectos, the team behind this renovation, the house already had ideal proportions and orientation. Thus, it “was outlined with a strategy of simplicity and clarity”.

Public and private spaces are structured around two clearly differentiated axis and so do the solutions taken in lighting. This is a singular house with open and bright spaces, perfectly blending natural and artificial light.

About one hundred solutions have been installed in this 100m² space, distributed in three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and corridors. An integral project which has made the most of the spatial conditions and needs.

The same line of simplicity and clarity has been followed in terms of lighting, combining general lighting and accent lighting, with exclusive decorative solutions from Lledó+Bega.

Pedro López Quintas, from 1004arquitectos, acknowledges that the use made of space following the reform has successfully achieved the goal of creating two distinct areas.

The perspective of the south axis, or living-dining-kitchen axis, is closed by the latter as a backdrop. Three spaces forming one only atmosphere and an efficient lighting with different solutions for each section.

From the kitchen, a line of our orientable led downlights XILA can be seen. A simple and efficient choice that provides a soft light distribution. In the same perspective, a horizontal line of our surface downlights HANOI cross and divide the living from the dining room, creating a more general ambient.
